New Palliative Care Unit at Milford Care Centre now on site

Following an official sod turning ceremony by the Minister of Health, Simon Harris TD, work on our development of a new Palliative Care Unit at Milford Care Centre has commenced on site.  The first phase of the works will continue until October 2017 with the hand-over of the new Unit and Reception Hub.  Works to the existing In-Patient Unit will then commence and the project is due for completion in April 2018.  Check out the Project Page...

Planning granted for €11 million extension at Milford Care Centre

Limerick City & County Council has granted full Planning Permission for our proposed Palliative Care Unit extension at Milford Care Centre.  The development includes 3,750 sq.m. of additional space in a part two/part three storey extension to the existing In-Patient Unit and will result in the provision of 34 hospice beds and an increase in the capacity of the Nursing Home from 47 to 68 bedrooms.  More details available...
