Project Description

St. Enda’s Sports Complex has been central to community life in Limerick City since the 1970’s.  Quinn Architects were commissioned to prepare a ‘New Vision’ plan that exploits the wonderful location and aspect of the existing Campus and integrates with the Masterplan prepared by the Limerick Regeneration Agency and thereby ensure St. Enda’s place as a centre for sporting excellence locally and regionally.

The new Sports Building would house modern sports facilities surrounded by playing fields, courts, an all-weather playing field and a running track while the proposals also stretch beyond the confines of the existing Campus and extend into a proposed new park adjacent to the Centre which would provide ancillary activities including an activity trail, playground and skateboard park.
