The project consists of the refurbishment of the 1970’s school building including upgrading the building fabric, internal reorganisation and redecoration at Garryowen, Limerick.
After repairs to the existing concrete structure, the entire building was cladd in external insulation and plastered in colours to create a stimulating learning environment. The thermal performance of the old building was significantly improved. All works were carried out on a phased basis between 2005-2006 with school remaining operational throughout the works. Quinn Architects provided a full architectural service from brief development and concept design through to construction and certification
