Quinn Architects was commissioned to design a Health & Wellbeing Clinic for LAYA Healthcare in Swords, Co. Dublin. The project involved the fit-out of a two-storey former commercial building in Swords Business Park. Extending across circa 1,200 sq.m., the clinic provides general consulting rooms as well as the following specialist diagnostic services:

• X-ray
• Dexa Scanning
• MRI Scanning
• Ultrasound

The services are arranged around a spacious reception area with an attractive main waiting area, complemented by sub-waiting areas located within each service area. The layout also provides generous staff facilities, including a canteen and changing rooms.

Quinn Architects provided a full architectural service and acted as Design Team Leader, co-ordinating all design team inputs. Quinn Architects assisted with development of the client brief and engaged in extensive consultation with the sub-teams within LAYA Healthcare, as well as Alliance Medical, who provide the specialist diagnostic services at the centre.
