Following an earlier Masterplanning Study for the Milford Care Centre Campus, the design relocated the Main Building Entrance into a new ‘Hub’ with access to the existing Nursing Home, the existing Daycare Centre and the new Palliative Care Unit. The new build area is circa 3,750 sq.m., predominantly two storeys, with 34 Patient Bedrooms and 4 Family Overnight Bedrooms. We also oversaw the extensive refurbishment of the In-Patient Unit itself, converting multi-occupancy rooms to single person en-suite residential accommodation in accordance with current HIQA best practice.
