Key Experience
Iwona studied Architecture and Urban Design at Cracow Polytechnic in Poland, graduating in 2003.  During the course of her studies, she participated in an international student exchange with the University of Tennessee and spent six months studying in Knoxville, USA.  Iwona has enjoyed considerable success with student competitions, winning joint first prize for her design for a gallery in Bochnia, Poland and a Commendation from a pan-American competition for an environmentally sustainable Agriculture College in California, USA.  Iwona chose to pursue sustainability issues in her Diploma project which comprises of urban planning, sustainable house design and community centre.  She also has a passion for photography.

Iwona has worked on a range of projects including residential, healthcare and transport sectors. Projects include

  • Acute Psychiatric Unit, Nenagh General Hospital
  • Letterkenny Bus Station Development
  • Housing scheme for Religious Sisters
  • Primary Care Unit, Tipperary
  • Various private houses
