About the role
As an Architectural Technologist at Quinn Architects, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering intricate detail designs for our diverse range of architectural projects. Utilising your technical prowess and construction expertise, you’ll ensure every aspect complies with the latest statutory and building regulations, bringing our visionary designs to life.

- Crafting Detail Designs: Dive deep into the intricacies of architectural projects, meticulously ensuring compliance with regulations while infusing creativity and innovation into every detail.
- Project Management: Take charge of the day-to-day management of assigned projects, collaborating closely with our team of accomplished Architects to drive success and exceed client expectations.
- Collaboration: Lead and engage in meetings with clients, design teams, contractors, and specialists, fostering meaningful connections and sparking collaborative excellence.
- Streamlined Coordination: Excel in Design Team coordination, ensuring seamless information flow throughout every stage of the project, from conception to completion.
- Compliance Champion: Champion compliance with client briefs and Irish planning, building, and health & safety regulations, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- On-Site Visits: Embark on site visits and conduct thorough inspections, immersing yourself in the hands-on implementation of our designs and ensuring their flawless execution.

- Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology lays the foundation for success in this role.
- Professional Experience: With a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, ideally
with a strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Registration with professional bodies such as RIAI, CIAT, CIOB etc would be of benefit. - Architectural Acumen: Your experience in preparing statutory consent applications, detailed design, tender, and construction documentation demonstrates your proficiency in navigating the nuances of architectural projects.
- Attention to Detail: With strong visual skills and a keen eye for detail, you ensure every aspect of a project is meticulously designed to perfection.
- Initiative and Proactivity: Your inherent drive and proactive approach inspire excellence in every task, moving forward with determination and enthusiasm.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Your excellent understanding and experience with Irish planning, building regulations, building control, and health & safety legislation are invaluable assets to our team.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, while knowledge of Revit is desirable. An interest or expertise in design innovation areas such as modular construction and prefabricated systems is also desirable.’
- Communication and Organisational Skills: Your strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills facilitate effective collaboration and clear conveyance of ideas, while your well-organised nature and good time management skills enable you to excel in juggling multiple tasks and priorities seamlessly.
- Site Experience and Mobility: Previous site experience is advantageous, offering valuable insights into practical design implementation, and possession of a valid driver’s license with access to a car is essential for attending site visits.
