Project Description
In 1997, the Office of Public Works (OPW) commissioned Quinn Architects to design a new office building in the centre of Tipperary Town to accommodate both the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Social Welfare.
Our solution is a mixed two storey / single storey building with feature double height entrance foyer and decorative staircase that responds to site circulation routes and the complex requirements of the brief in terms of the pattern of use of the building. We provided the OPW with a full architectural service as Design Team Leaders from brief development and concept design through to construction and certification.
