Project Description

The Library at Mary Immaculate College was designed for a time when the student population at the College numbered 750 students and was completed in 1980. The distinctive design is characterised by the projection of the floor and roof, the verticular definition of the beams expressed externally and the glazing that separates the walls from the heavy structure overhead so that they float above the walls.
