As Mary Immaculate College has grown, the need to provide upgraded facilities for students and staff has increased in equal measure. Quinn Architects was asked to refurbish a former Junior Common Room adjacent to the main administration area for use as a Staff Lounge. The project involved some minor structural alterations to fully extend the available space but the main focus was on the internal fit-out of the Staff Lounge to create a vibrant and stimulating meeting place for College staff. In addition to the internal fit-out, we also transformed the adjacent yard into a sunny garden space.
