Richie joined Quinn Architects in May of 2015. He brings over 25 years of experience, covering a wide range of projects in sectors covering; Education, Residential, Commercial, Public Buildings, Leisure, Healthcare and Retail.

Richie has a highly technical approach to projects and focuses on developing designs to detail design stage and production information on major healthcare and educational projects. Since joining Quinn Architects, he has been given a lead Technical role within the Practice. His diligence and Technical approach was utilised on

Milford Care Centre: extension to their Hospice facility and refurbishment of their Nursing Home facility

Primary Care Centres: Located in Athy, Banagher & Enniscorthy

Mary Immaculte College, St. Patrick’s Campus, Thurles: Conservation project upgrades to St. Patricks Campus building consisting of technical upgrades, provision of student accommodation and on going upgrades to various sections of the building, helping to bring this protected structure up to a modern standard for it’s students and staff.

Richie is a specialist in science of Architecture, Technical design and Construction detailing. He recognises the importance of energy efficient buildings and the role these buildings can play in providing clean energy efficiency to the built environment and society in general. To further enhance his understanding of the importance of these Technologies, he has completed a programme in Building performance on NZEB Policy & Technology at TUI Dublin. He is intent on blending his established experience with new technologies and to bring these aspects to bear on the practices projects.
